Burke and Wills
Burke and Wills refers to the famous Australian expedition led by Robert O'Hara Burke and William John Wills in 1860-1861. Their goal was to cross the Australian continent from Melbourne in the south to the northern coast at Carpentaria. The journey aimed to explore uncharted territories and establish a route for future settlers.
The expedition faced numerous challenges, including harsh weather, difficult terrain, and limited supplies.
