Bullpup Design
Bullpup design is a firearm configuration where the action and magazine are located behind the trigger. This layout allows for a shorter overall weapon length without sacrificing barrel length, making it more compact and easier to maneuver. Bullpup rifles are often favored in close-quarters combat and tactical situations.
This design is commonly found in military firearms, such as the Steyr AUG and FN P90. The bullpup configuration can improve balance and reduce recoil, but it may also present challenges in reloading and trigger control compared to traditional rifle designs.
