Bullfrogs
Bullfrogs are large amphibians belonging to the species Lithobates catesbeianus. They are commonly found in North America, particularly in ponds, lakes, and marshes. Bullfrogs are known for their distinctive deep croaking sound, which males use to attract females during the breeding season. They have smooth, green or brown skin and can grow up to 8 inches in length.
These frogs are carnivorous and primarily feed on insects, small fish, and other amphibians. Bullfrogs are also known for their strong hind legs, which allow them to jump long distances. They are adaptable creatures, thriving in various habitats, but they can also become invasive in non-native areas.
