Bull Run
The term "Bull Run" commonly refers to two significant battles during the American Civil War, fought in Virginia. The First Battle of Bull Run occurred on July 21, 1861, and was the first major land battle of the war, resulting in a Confederate victory. The Second Battle of Bull Run took place from August 28 to August 30, 1862, and also ended in a decisive victory for the Confederacy, solidifying their control in Northern Virginia.
