Bulb Planting
Bulb planting is the process of placing bulbs, which are underground storage organs of plants, into the soil to grow flowers or other plants. Common bulbs include tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. The best time to plant bulbs is in the fall, allowing them to establish roots before winter.
To plant bulbs, choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Dig a hole about two to three times deeper than the bulb's height, place the bulb with the pointed end facing up, and cover it with soil. Water the area lightly to help settle the soil and promote growth in the spring.
