Buddhist path
The Buddhist path refers to the spiritual journey that leads to enlightenment and liberation from suffering. It is often outlined in the Four Noble Truths, which identify the nature of suffering, its causes, the possibility of cessation, and the path to achieve this. The path is typically described through the Noble Eightfold Path, which includes right understanding, intention, speech, action, livelihood, effort, mindfulness, and concentration.
Practicing the Buddhist path involves cultivating ethical conduct, mental discipline, and wisdom. Followers engage in meditation, mindfulness, and ethical living to develop compassion and insight. Ultimately, the goal is to attain Nirvana, a state of freedom from the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, known as samsara.
