Buddhist Teachers
Buddhist teachers, often referred to as lamas or monks, guide practitioners in understanding the teachings of Buddhism. They provide instruction on meditation, ethical conduct, and the philosophy of the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. Their role is to help students cultivate mindfulness and compassion.
These teachers can be found in various traditions, such as Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana. Many have undergone extensive training and may have received teachings from recognized masters. They often lead retreats, offer teachings, and support their communities in spiritual development.
