Bud Schulberg
Bud Schulberg was an American screenwriter and novelist, born on March 27, 1914, in New York City. He is best known for his work on the film On the Waterfront, which won him an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 1955. Schulberg's writing often explored themes of social justice and the struggles of the working class.
In addition to his screenwriting, Schulberg authored several novels, including What Makes Sammy Run?, which critiques the American entertainment industry.
