British Ministry of Defence
The British Ministry of Defence (MOD) is the government department responsible for implementing the defense policy of the United Kingdom. It oversees the British Armed Forces, which include the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force. The MOD manages defense budgets, procurement of equipment, and strategic planning to ensure national security.
The MOD is headed by the Secretary of State for Defence, who is a member of the Cabinet. The department works closely with international allies and partners to address global security challenges and to support peacekeeping and humanitarian missions around the world.
