Bristol Aircraft
Bristol Aircraft was a British aircraft manufacturer founded in 1910, known for producing a variety of military and civilian aircraft. The company played a significant role during both World Wars, developing notable models such as the Bristol Fighter and the Bristol Blenheim.
In the post-war period, Bristol Aircraft continued to innovate, contributing to the development of jet aircraft and the Bristol Britannia, a turboprop airliner. The company eventually merged with Bristol Aeroplane Company and became part of the larger British Aircraft Corporation in the 1960s, marking the end of its independent operations.
