Brisker Rav
The Brisker Rav, or Rabbi Yitzchok Zev Soloveitchik, was a prominent Jewish scholar and leader in the 20th century. He was born in 1886 in Brisk, a city in present-day Belarus, and became known for his deep analytical approach to Talmudic study.
