Brigands
Brigands are individuals who engage in robbery and banditry, often operating in groups. They typically target travelers or isolated communities, using violence or intimidation to steal goods and money. Historically, brigands have been associated with rural areas and mountainous regions, where they could easily hide from authorities.
The term "brigand" is often linked to the romanticized image of outlaws in literature and folklore. They are sometimes depicted as anti-heroes, similar to figures like Robin Hood, who steal from the rich to give to the poor. However, in reality, brigands are primarily motivated by personal gain and often cause harm to their victims.
