Brian Orser is a retired Canadian figure skater and a prominent coach. He was born on December 18, 1961, in Belleville, Ontario. Orser is best known for winning two Olympic silver medals in men's singles at the 1984 and 1988 Winter Olympics. He also claimed multiple titles, including the World Figure Skating Championships in 1987 and 1988. After retiring from competitive skating, Orser transitioned to coaching and has trained several successful skaters, including Yuna Kim, the 2010 Olympic champion.
