Breast Tumors
Breast tumors are abnormal growths of cells in the breast tissue. They can be classified as benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Benign tumors, such as fibroadenomas, do not spread to other parts of the body, while malignant tumors can invade surrounding tissues and may metastasize to other organs.
Detection of breast tumors often involves imaging techniques like mammograms and ultrasounds. If a tumor is found, a biopsy may be performed to determine whether it is benign or malignant. Early detection and treatment are crucial for improving outcomes in cases of malignant breast tumors.
