Boyko Borisov
Boyko Borisov is a Bulgarian politician and former Prime Minister of Bulgaria. He served three non-consecutive terms, first from 2009 to 2013, then from 2014 to 2021. Borisov is known for his background in law enforcement and his role in founding the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) party.
Before entering politics, Borisov was a firefighter and later became the chief secretary of the Ministry of Interior. His leadership has been marked by efforts to improve Bulgaria's economy and strengthen its ties with the European Union. Borisov has also faced criticism and allegations of corruption during his time in office.
