Bowerbird
The bowerbird is a unique bird found primarily in Australia and New Guinea. Known for their elaborate courtship rituals, male bowerbirds build intricate structures called bowers to attract females. These bowers are often decorated with colorful objects like flowers, leaves, and even man-made items such as bottle caps and plastic.
There are about 20 species of bowerbirds, each with its own distinct building style. The most famous is the great bowerbird, which creates a tunnel-like structure. Bowerbirds are not only skilled builders but also exhibit remarkable intelligence, showcasing their ability to select and arrange materials creatively.
