Bow Legs
Bow legs, or genu varum, is a condition where a person's legs curve outward at the knees while the feet and ankles touch. This can create a noticeable gap between the knees when standing straight. Bow legs can be seen in infants and toddlers, often resolving as they grow, but in some cases, it may persist into adulthood.
The condition can result from various factors, including genetics, nutritional deficiencies, or certain medical conditions. While mild cases may not require treatment, severe cases can lead to discomfort or joint issues. In such instances, medical intervention, including braces or surgery, may be recommended.
