Bosnian dinar
The Bosnian dinar was the currency used in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992 to 1994. It was introduced during the breakup of Yugoslavia and replaced the Yugoslav dinar. The dinar was subdivided into 100 para and was issued in both banknotes and coins.
In 1994, the Bosnian dinar was replaced by the Bosnian convertible mark (BAM), which is still in use today. The convertible mark was introduced to stabilize the economy and facilitate trade, providing a more reliable currency for the region.
