Boris Vian
Boris Vian was a French writer, poet, and musician born on March 10, 1920, in Ville-d'Avray, France. He is best known for his novel L'Écume des jours (Froth on the Daydream), which blends surrealism and romance. Vian was also a talented jazz trumpeter and contributed to the French jazz scene, reflecting his passion for music in his literary works.
In addition to his novels, Vian wrote plays, essays, and songs, often using humor and satire to critique society. He was involved in the Existentialist movement and was friends with notable figures like Jean-Paul Sartre.
