Blind Soccer
Blind soccer, also known as blind football, is a sport designed for athletes with visual impairments. The game is played on a smaller field, and players wear eye masks to ensure a uniform level of blindness. The ball used is specially designed with bells inside, allowing players to hear its location as they navigate the field.
Teams consist of five players each, including a goalkeeper who can see. Communication is crucial, as players call out to each other and use sound cues to coordinate their movements. Blind soccer promotes teamwork, physical fitness, and inclusivity, providing an opportunity for visually impaired individuals to engage in competitive sports.
