Blind Football
Blind Football is a modified version of soccer designed for players with visual impairments. The game is played on a smaller field, and all players wear eye masks to ensure a level playing field. The ball used is specially designed with bells inside, allowing players to hear its location as they play.
Teams consist of four outfield players and one goalkeeper, who is sighted and can provide guidance. The objective is to score goals while following specific rules that promote safety and fair play. Blind Football is governed by the International Blind Sports Federation and is played worldwide, including at the Paralympic Games.
