Blanche of Lancaster
Blanche of Lancaster was born in 1345 and was a member of the English royal family. She was the daughter of Henry of Grosmont, the 1st Duke of Lancaster, and Isabel de Beaumont. Blanche married John of Gaunt, the Duke of Lancaster, and became the mother of several notable children, including Henry IV of England.
Blanche's marriage to John of Gaunt strengthened the power of the Lancaster family during the 14th century. She played a significant role in the political landscape of England, particularly during the Hundred Years' War. Blanche died in 1369, but her legacy continued through her descendants.
