Black Girls Code
Black Girls Code is a nonprofit organization founded in 2011 that aims to empower young girls of color by teaching them computer programming and technology skills. The organization provides workshops, camps, and after-school programs to help girls aged 7 to 17 learn coding languages and develop their creativity in the tech field.
The mission of Black Girls Code is to increase the number of women of color in the technology industry. By fostering a supportive community and providing access to resources, the organization encourages girls to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and become leaders in the tech world.
