Bissa language
The Bissa language is a member of the Gur branch of the Niger-Congo language family. It is primarily spoken in Burkina Faso and parts of Ghana, where it serves as a means of communication among the Bissa people. The language has several dialects, reflecting the diverse communities that speak it.
Bissa is written using the Latin alphabet, and it has a rich oral tradition, including storytelling and proverbs. Efforts are being made to promote literacy in Bissa, as well as to preserve its cultural heritage in the face of globalization and language shift.
