Bison Habitat
Bison primarily inhabit grasslands, prairies, and open plains, where they can graze on the abundant grasses and herbs. These habitats provide the necessary space for their large herds to roam and find food. Bison are also found in some forested areas, especially where there are clearings that allow for grazing.
In North America, bison once roamed vast areas from the eastern United States to the western plains. Today, they are often found in protected areas like national parks, including Yellowstone National Park, where conservation efforts help maintain their populations and natural habitats.
