Bishop and Pawn
The Bishop and Pawn are two types of chess pieces, each with distinct movements and roles. The Bishop moves diagonally across the board, covering any number of squares, while the Pawn moves forward one square but captures diagonally.
In a game of chess, the Bishop is valued for its long-range capabilities, often controlling important diagonals. The Pawn, on the other hand, is the most numerous piece and can promote to a more powerful piece, like a Queen, if it reaches the opponent's back rank.
