Bishop John O. Barres is an American Roman Catholic bishop who has served as the Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre in New York since 2017. He was born on September 20, 1960, in Lynbrook, New York. Barres was ordained a priest in 1990 and later became the Bishop of the Diocese of Allentown in Pennsylvania in 2009.
