Bishan Bedi
Bishan Bedi is a former Indian cricketer, renowned for his exceptional left-arm spin bowling. Born on September 25, 1946, in Amritsar, Punjab, he played for the Indian national team from 1966 to 1979. Bedi was a key member of the famous Indian spin quartet, which also included Erapalli Prasanna, B. S. Chandrasekhar, and Srinivasaraghavan Venkataraghavan.
Throughout his career, Bedi took 266 wickets in Test matches, making him one of India's leading bowlers. After retiring from international cricket, he became a successful coach and commentator, sharing his insights on the game. Bedi is also known for his contributions to cricket administration and his advocacy for the sport's development in India.
