Bevis Bawa
Bevis Bawa was a prominent Sri Lankan artist and landscape designer, known for his contributions to the field of garden design and his unique artistic style. Born in 1909, he was the son of the famous painter George Keyt and became well-known for his vibrant paintings that often depicted the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. His work reflects a deep appreciation for the island's flora and fauna.
In addition to his painting, Bawa was instrumental in creating beautiful gardens, most notably the Brief Garden in Bentota, which showcases his innovative approach to landscape architecture.
