Beta Lacertae
Beta Lacertae is a binary star system located in the constellation Lacerta. It is approximately 50 light-years away from Earth and consists of two stars that orbit each other. The primary star is a yellow-white G-type main-sequence star, while the secondary star is a fainter K-type star.
The system is notable for its relatively close proximity to our solar system and its brightness, making it an interesting target for amateur astronomers. Beta Lacertae has an apparent magnitude of about 4.5, which allows it to be seen with the naked eye under good conditions.
