Beryl Markham
Beryl Markham was a British aviator, adventurer, and author, born in 1902 in England. She moved to Kenya as a child and became known for her pioneering work in aviation, particularly as one of the first women to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean in 1936. Her remarkable journey from Africa to North America showcased her skills and courage in a male-dominated field.
