Berti Vogts
Berti Vogts is a former professional football player and coach from Germany. Born on December 30, 1946, in Büttgen, he played as a defender, primarily for Borussia Mönchengladbach from 1963 to 1979. Vogts was a key member of the West Germany national team, winning the FIFA World Cup in 1974 and the UEFA European Championship in 1972.
After retiring as a player, Vogts transitioned to coaching, leading various teams, including the Germany national team from 1990 to 1998. He is known for his tactical knowledge and has contributed to the development of football in several countries, including Scotland and Azerbaijan.
