Bennett's wallaby
Bennett's wallaby is a medium-sized marsupial native to Australia and Tasmania. It belongs to the Macropodidae family, which includes kangaroos and other wallabies. These wallabies have a compact body, long hind legs, and a short tail, typically weighing between 15 to 25 pounds. Their fur is usually brown or gray, providing excellent camouflage in their natural habitat.
Bennett's wallabies are herbivores, primarily feeding on grasses, leaves, and shrubs. They are social animals, often found in small groups. These wallabies are crepuscular, meaning they are most active during dawn and dusk, which helps them avoid predators like dingoes and eagles.
