Benjamin Orr
Benjamin Orr was an American musician best known as the bassist and co-lead vocalist of the rock band The Cars. Born on September 8, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, he played a significant role in the band's success during the late 1970s and 1980s, contributing to hits like "Just What I Needed" and "Drive."
Orr's musical career began in the 1960s, and he was known for his distinctive voice and stage presence. After The Cars disbanded in 1988, he pursued a solo career, releasing his album "The Lace" in 1986. Orr passed away on October 3, 2000, due to pancreatic cancer.
