Beau Brummell
Beau Brummell was an influential English dandy and fashion icon in the early 19th century, known for his impeccable style and elegance. He popularized the modern men's suit and introduced the concept of understated fashion, favoring tailored clothing over extravagant attire. His attention to detail and grooming set new standards for men's fashion in Regency England.
Brummell was also a close friend of Prince George, the future King George IV, which helped him gain prominence in high society. However, his extravagant lifestyle and eventual financial troubles led to his decline, and he spent his later years in exile in France.
