Battle of Troy
The Battle of Troy is a legendary conflict from ancient Greek mythology, primarily depicted in Homer's Iliad. It is said to have lasted for ten years, involving the city of Troy and a coalition of Greek city-states led by Agamemnon. The war began after Paris, a prince of Troy, abducted Helen, the wife of the Greek king Menelaus.
The battle is famous for its many heroes, including Achilles, Hector, and Odysseus. The Greeks ultimately devised a clever strategy using the Trojan Horse, a deceptive wooden structure that allowed them to infiltrate and conquer Troy, leading to the city's fall.
