Battle of Sedgemoor
The Battle of Sedgemoor took place on July 6, 1685, in Somerset, England. It was the final battle of the Monmouth Rebellion, where supporters of James Scott, Duke of Monmouth attempted to overthrow King James II. The battle was fought between Monmouth's forces and the royal army led by Lord Feversham.
