Battle of Changping
The Battle of Changping was a significant conflict fought between the states of Zhao and Qin during the Warring States period of ancient China, around 260 BCE. This battle is notable for its scale and the tactics employed, as Qin sought to expand its territory and power. The battle ended in a decisive victory for Qin, leading to the capture of a large number of Zhao soldiers.
Following the battle, the aftermath was devastating for Zhao, as many of its troops were executed or enslaved. The loss weakened Zhao significantly and contributed to the eventual unification of China under the Qin Dynasty.
