Qin State
The Qin State was one of the seven major states during the Warring States period in ancient China. It was located in the northwest region and was known for its strong military and effective governance. The state played a crucial role in the eventual unification of China under the Qin Dynasty.
Founded in the 9th century BCE, the Qin State expanded its territory through conquests and alliances. Its most famous ruler, Qin Shi Huang, became the first emperor of a unified China in 221 BCE. The state's innovations in administration and infrastructure laid the groundwork for future Chinese dynasties.
