Barasoain Church
Barasoain Church, officially known as the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Church, is located in Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines. It was built in 1885 and is known for its historical significance during the Philippine Revolution. The church served as the site of the First Philippine Republic's inaugural session in 1899.
The church features a beautiful neo-Romanesque architectural style, characterized by its distinct façade and bell tower. It is often referred to as the "Cradle of Democracy in the East" due to its role in the establishment of the first democratic government in Asia. Today, it remains a popular tourist destination and a symbol of Filipino heritage.
