Banasura Sagar Dam
The Banasura Sagar Dam is located in the Wayanad district of Kerala, India. It is the largest earthen dam in India and was constructed in 1979. The dam is built across the Banasura River, a tributary of the Kabini River, and serves primarily for irrigation and water supply.
