Balkan Dağları
The Balkan Dağları, also known as the Balkan Mountains, are a mountain range in southeastern Europe, primarily located in Bulgaria. They stretch approximately 600 kilometers from the Serbian border in the west to the Black Sea in the east. The highest peak is Botev Peak, which rises to 2,376 meters.
This mountain range is known for its diverse ecosystems, including forests, meadows, and unique wildlife. The Balkan Dağları also play a significant role in the climate of the region, acting as a barrier to cold winds from the north. They are a popular destination for hiking and outdoor activities.
