Badminton Association of India
The Badminton Association of India (BAI) is the governing body for the sport of badminton in India. Established in 1934, it is responsible for promoting and developing badminton at all levels, from grassroots to elite competitions. BAI organizes national tournaments and oversees the selection of players for international events, including the Olympics and the World Championships.
BAI also works to improve coaching standards and facilities across the country. It collaborates with various state associations and is affiliated with the Badminton World Federation (BWF), which is the international governing body for badminton.
