BPjM
BPjM, or Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien, is a German federal agency responsible for monitoring and regulating media content that may be harmful to young people. Established in 1954, its primary role is to review and classify video games, films, and other media to ensure they are appropriate for different age groups.
The agency can place restrictions on certain media, including banning them from sale or distribution in Germany. BPjM works closely with other organizations and stakeholders to promote safe media consumption and protect children and adolescents from potentially harmful content.
