Autonomous Communities of Spain
The Autonomous Communities of Spain are regions with a degree of self-governance, established to recognize the country's diverse cultures and languages. Spain is divided into 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities, each with its own government and parliament, allowing them to manage certain local affairs like education and health.
Each community has its own unique identity, often reflected in its language, traditions, and cuisine. For example, Catalonia has its own language, Catalan, while Andalusia is known for its flamenco music and dance. This system promotes regional autonomy while maintaining national unity.
