Audio Cassettes
Audio cassettes are a type of magnetic tape used for recording and playing back sound. They were popular from the 1970s to the early 2000s, allowing people to listen to music and other audio content on portable devices. Each cassette contains two reels of tape, which move past a playback head to reproduce sound.
The format was widely used for music albums, mixtapes, and voice recordings. Sony and Maxell were well-known brands that produced audio cassettes. Although digital formats like MP3 have largely replaced them, audio cassettes still hold nostalgic value for many collectors and enthusiasts.
