Attributes of God in Islam
In Islam, the attributes of God, known as Asma'ul Husna or "the Most Beautiful Names," describe His nature and qualities. These attributes include Mercy, Compassion, Omnipotence, and Knowledge. Muslims believe that God is unique and transcendent, meaning He is beyond human comprehension and does not resemble His creation.
One of the central beliefs is that God is One (Tawhid), emphasizing His singularity and unity. Additionally, God is often described as All-Knowing (Al-'Aleem) and All-Powerful (Al-Qadir), which signifies His complete control over the universe. These attributes guide Muslims in their understanding of God and their relationship with Him.
