Asteroid 1004
Asteroid 1004, also known as Asteroid 1004, is a small celestial body located in the Asteroid Belt between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It was discovered on March 1, 1923, by the astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth. This asteroid is classified as a C-type asteroid, which means it is composed mainly of carbonaceous materials.
With a diameter of approximately 20 kilometers, Asteroid 1004 has a relatively low brightness, making it difficult to observe from Earth. Its orbit around the Sun takes about 4.5 years, and it travels at an average speed of around 18 kilometers per second.
