Asr Prayer
The Asr Prayer is one of the five daily prayers in Islam, performed in the late afternoon. It is the third prayer of the day, following the Dhuhr Prayer and preceding the Maghrib Prayer. The Asr Prayer consists of four units, known as rak'ahs, and is an important time for Muslims to reconnect with their faith and seek guidance.
The timing of the Asr Prayer varies depending on the location and season. It begins when the shadow of an object is equal to its length and lasts until just before sunset. Performing the Asr Prayer is considered essential for maintaining spiritual discipline and fulfilling religious obligations.
