Asiatic Cheetah
The Asiatic Cheetah is a critically endangered subspecies of the cheetah, primarily found in Iran. It is smaller and lighter than its African counterpart, with a distinctive slender body, long legs, and a unique coat pattern featuring black spots. This cheetah is adapted for speed, capable of reaching up to 70 miles per hour in short bursts.
Historically, the Asiatic Cheetah roamed across parts of the Middle East and India, but habitat loss and poaching have drastically reduced its population. Conservation efforts are underway to protect this rare animal and its habitat, aiming to prevent its extinction in the wild.
